Welcome to the Mist wiki, where with extensive research, I've come to try and build a wiki which explains the book, game, movie and television show.
What is "The Mist"?[]
The Mist is a novella by Stephen King which has since it's release in 1980, branched off into a game, movie and a television show which does not relate to the original novella in the slightest. The book is about a group of towns people, namely David Drayton who are stuck in a foods store and have to survive both the outside, and the inside. The game does not focus on this at all, and only focuses on David and his son Billy, wherein David has to cross the small town of Bridgeton, Maine in order to reach the Eagleton residence and rescue Billy. The movie follows extensively to the book, but manages to add in details which were missed in the book, the ending included. Finally, the television series goes along the story of many different individuals trapped in different places, focusing on a man by the name of Kevin Copeland.
